MUSIC MINISTRY
The Music Ministry strives to encourage deeper prayer and participation in the Liturgy throughout the year by singing, playing and joyously leading the congregation in song during Mass. There are many opportunities to become involved in the Music Ministry. At St. Rita, we understand that Sacred Music is designed to glorify God and to sanctify and edify the faithful that hear it.

THE ST. RITA CATHOLIC CHOIR
The St. Rita Choir leads prayer through music at all weekend Masses. The choir also sings at special liturgical times such as Easter, Christmas, and Confirmation. If you have a musical background and can contribute instrumental skills, especially pray about sharing that with your congregation, we need your talent. The St. Rita Catholic Choir explores traditional hymnody, some modern day Catholic songs, simple English chants, & traditional Gregorian chants in Latin. Many of our singing volunteers are not expert sight-readers, but with a servant attitude we successfully make music for the glory of God. Do not feel intimidated if you can't read music or do not have formal training, Latin and Gregorian chants follow simple rules as they are meant to be accessible to all!
Weekly rehearsals: 6:00PM on Wednesdays
Sunday rehearsal before mass: 10:00AM
Sunday Choir Mass: 11:00AM
